Live a life of worship

Worship is a central part of the life of the church. To follow Jesus is to know, love, and serve Him. To follow Jesus is to worship Jesus. As Byron Spradlin puts it: "Worship is the intentional attitudes and actions of focusing on God." As followers of Jesus, we believe that every area of our lives is an opportunity to worship God. We worship God when we love our families with the love we've received in Jesus. We worship God when we seek opportunities to serve our neighbours. We worship God when we carry out our jobs to the best of our abilities in our workplaces.

We sing songs that teach us the truth about who God is and what God has done, and we sing songs that praise Him for those things as well.
